Volunteer Thanks 2025

Festival 2025 has come to a close, and as we begin to reflect on what went well and where we can improve, we want to start with one very important thing:

A massive thank you to all our incredible volunteers!

None of this would be possible without you — the people who bake the cakes, set up the site, sell entrance and raffle tickets, serve the teas and cakes, paint faces, run the tombola, organise and manage the dog show, help with car parking, greet visitors at the gates, assist as site attendants, and come back the next day to take it all down.

It takes a village community — and we mean that literally. Your time, energy, and commitment make the festival what it is, and we’re so grateful for every single one of you.

We’ll be publishing the final financial results of the festival in a couple of weeks, once all the figures are in, so you can see the real impact of your efforts from that point of view. But much more important than that is the fact that the village enjoyed a great, fun day together!

As always, there are things we can improve. If you have any suggestions or feedback, please send them to craig@acasterevents.co.uk so we can include them in our close-out meeting.
